The Inacraft 2023 craft exhibition showcases high quality Indonesian craft products. Most of them came from small, micro and medium enterprises (MSMEs) actor. Deputy Main Director of BNI Adi Sulistyowati said that MSME products at the exhibition had world-class quality standards.
“Each of the BNI-assisted MSME actors has a very interesting background and is able to set an example for MSME actors to remain enthusiastic in their work. We hope their product can jump higher domestically, as well as in foreign markets,” he said in Jakarta (04/02/2023).
According to antaranews.com, As a state-owned enterprise (BUMN), BNI is strongly committed to supporting government programs in assisting and improving the quality of MSMEs. This support aims to contribute to improving the economic welfare of the community.
The support provided by BNI to MSMEs is in line with President Joko Widodo’s (Jokowi) directions. The direction given is the “Proud Made in Indonesia” National Movement as a form of support for Indonesian MSMEs.
“BNI is also providing support for MSMEs through a program called BNI Xpora by being involved in Inacraft 2023. This program has the theme ‘From Smart Village to Global Market’,” said Adi. He also hopes that the MSME segment, which has grown in 2022, can continue to grow.
Appreciation for BNI Effort
One of the BNI-assisted MSME actors named Widi Nugraha also marketed their products. The products can be found at the Widi Nugraha Fossil Ngawi Batik House in East Java. The batik cloth that Widi sells has a motif in the form of an pre-historic human.
“I appreciate PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. or BNI, in this case, Rumah BUMN, which is always innovative in providing solutions for business development,” he said.
Aside from being a batik fabric maker, Widi also offers ready-to-wear clothing patterns that can be done by people with disabilities. He believes everyone has the same opportunity to succeed.
