This was conveyed by the Head of the Micro Business Sector of the Malang City Industry and Trade Cooperative Office, Mochamad Baihaqie. He considered business legality to be an important point for MSMEs, especially in the current era of digital technology.

One of them is product legality, such as Business Identification Number (NIB), Brand, Certificate of Home Industry Food Production (SPP-IRT) or BPOM, Halal Certificate or Sanitary Hygiene Eligible Certificate, and nutritional value information.
“This is in accordance with what is stated in Government Regulation Number 7 of 2021 concerning Ease, Protection and Empowerment of Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises,” explained Mochamad in MSME training by PT HM Sampoerna Tbk.
PT HM Sampoerna Tbk’s training is the Sampoerna Entrepreneurship Training Center (SETC). So this training encourages the development of the business world in the digital era.
In this training, MSME actors in Malang City and its surroundings are given assistance. Starting from institutional assistance, financial literacy, and knowledge related to business legality. So, this activity is part of the Digital Transformation and Strengthening Resilience of SME’s (Small Medium Entrepreneurship) program.

Chairman of the Averroes Community, Sutomo emphasized that community MSME groups have a big role in economic recovery. He hoped that this training would later be useful and encourage MSMEs in the city of Malang to continue to grow.
