PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) in collaboration with the Indonesian Technology Innovation Foundation (INOTEK) held a Seminar and Assistance entitled MSMEs Can Go Digital. This collaboration is realized through the Sampoerna Entrepreneurship Training Center (SETC). This event is a series of activities from UMKM for Indonesia (UUI) for Digital Transformation.
According to cnbcindonesia.com, the event was attended by 120 MSMEs and aims to accelerate MSMEs developments with digital technology. This is expected to strengthen the economy, especially those in DKI Jakarta Province.
The Head of the DKI Jakarta Province Industry, Trade, Cooperative and SMEs Office, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo also gave her opinion. Ratu explained that her party appreciated the initiative of this training and mentoring program. She also emphasized the importance of MSMEs to go digital.
“Digital transformation for MSMEs is one of the efforts to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs. In order to be able to expand their business market share,” Elisabeth said when opening the event quoted (15/05/2023).
INOTEK Executive Director Ivi Anggraeni hopes that MSME players who take part in this event will be able to develop their businesses in a sustainable manner. One of them is through the use of digital technology so that it can have an impact on economic progress.
UUI Program
The UUI Program for Digital Transformation is implemented from March to November 2023. This program aims to develop the digital technology capabilities of MSMEs in DKI Jakarta and Banten Provinces. So that they can increase their competitiveness.
In implementing the UUI program, INOTEK and SETC are collaborating with several strategic partners. Among them are the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta, Banten Provincial Government, South Tangerang City Government, and Serang City Government.
